Disco Fever - Fashion Editorial

Club culture is often seen as a space of freedom, self-expression, and celebration, yet in Kosovo, societal conditions and the dominance of the male gaze impose significant restrictions, particularly for women. The challenge was to visually represent these dynamics while highlighting the resilience and agency of women reclaiming their space in this environment.

Solution: For the Pristina Photos 2022 edition, Pristina in Parties, I created a conceptual photoshoot that confronts the restrictive nature of party culture and its over-sexualization of women. Through bold colors, mirrored reflections, and powerful styling, the imagery celebrates a brave woman reclaiming her body and freedom on her own terms. The interplay of sensuality and strength reflects her agency in redefining the party space as a zone of empowerment and play, symbolizing a step towards a freer, more inclusive club culture in Kosovo.
